Born in 1990, John Simpson is a young, fast developing motorbike
racer who has been climbing the ranks with amazing speed.
Originally from Antrim, Northern Ireland, John enjoys travelling
the length and breadth of the country racing the UK's race
circuits. In 2006, John entered the
Irish Clubmans
Short Circuit Championships in which he was crowned the winner of
the 125cc GP Newcomers class.
In 2007, he won the Honda CB500
class in
the New Era Club Championship. 2008 was another
successful year as |

John was
crowned winner of the Formula 600 class in the
New Era Club Championship and took 2nd place in the
Sound of Thunder class.

In 2009 John will be competing in the British Superbikes Metzeler
Superstock 600 National Championship
support series. Racing 2 Yamaha R6's, John and the team are look forward to competing against other aspiring competitors. |

John hopes that this will be the stepping-stone for his ultimate ambition of taking
part in the main British Superbikes event and hopes that it will see his entry into the ‘big league’, where he can use his already extensive experience and success at
Club level and gain what it takes to achieve his dream of winning the British Superbikes Championship.
Throughout 2009, John will also be taking part in several other events including Thundersport GB Superstock 600, Formula 600 and some New Era
events.
